PharmaTRAC® at Unidade Local de Saúde de Matosinhos (ULSM)

In December 2023 we closed the year with the implementation of PharmaTRAC® at Unidade Local de Saúde de Matosinhos (ULSM).

BIQ HS was the partner chosen to support ULSM in this project, which aims to implement mobility solutions and dashboards to increase efficiency in healthcare and safety all over the medication life cycle.

With PharmaTRAC®, it’s possible to perform close loops between medicines and patients, with total traceability and security, by reading patient identification wristbands and medication barcodes.

PharmaTRAC® went live following BTRAC®, which was designed to guarantee traceability, safety, positive confirmation and monitoring of the administration of blood components, guaranteeing applicable legal requirements, guidelines and good practices.

These solutions enable the dematerialization of processes, allowing mobility and ensuring quality and safety, so that Nurses can focus on what is most important, taking care of patients.
