MAPP Solution at Hospital da Prelada in Porto

Hospital da Prelada, part of Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto, has begun implementing the MAPP solution as part of its process improvement project.

The solution is being introduced to improve two key areas in a modern hospital: Logistics and bedside nursing care.

To increase efficiency, MedTRAC was selected for logistics, while PharmaTRAC and CareTRAC were chosen to support nursing activities.

MedTRAC supports the Procurement and Pharmacy Services in Receiving, Picking and Inventory activities, while also supporting Consumption processes across the remaining hospital departments.

PharmaTRAC supports medication administration management, while CareTRAC supports the delivery of clinical care. Both solutions enable activities to be recorded directly at the patient’s bedside, contributing to more efficient and patient-centred care.
