BTRAC at Centro Hospitalar do Oeste

In April, we initiated the implementation project for our MAPP solutions at Centro Hospitalar do Oeste, E.P.E. (CHO).

BIQ Health Solutions was chosen as the partner of choice to support CHO in this project, which aims at the paperless digitization, digital integration, and streamlining of care processes across clinical areas—specifically within the transfusion safety workflow.

The BTRAC system was designed to ensure end-to-end traceability, safety, positive patient identification, and monitoring of blood component administration, guaranteeing full compliance with applicable legal requirements, guidelines, and best practices.

This solution enables full paperless digitization of the transfusion circuit, driving mobility while ensuring quality and safety—allowing nurses to focus their full attention on what matters most: providing care to patients.
