MAPP solution at Hospital da Prelada do Porto

Hospital da Prelada, belonging to Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto, has initiated the implementation of the MAPP solution as part of its continuous process improvement project.

The implementation aims to optimize two vital areas of a modern hospital: logistics and bedside nursing care. To drive operational efficiency, three key modules were selected: MedTRAC for logistics, along with PharmaTRAC and CareTRAC for nursing workflows.

– MedTRAC supports Procurement and Pharmacy services across Receiving, Picking, and Inventory operations, while enabling all other departments to streamline consumption logging.

– PharmaTRAC (for medication administration management) and CareTRAC (for healthcare delivery logging) allow nursing staff to record activities directly at the patient’s bedside, fostering a more patient-centered approach to care.
