BTRAC and PharmaTRAC at ULS Algarve

In May, the Local Health Unit of Algarve initiated the deployment of mobility solutions integrated into the MAPP suite—specifically BTRAC for transfusion safety and PharmaTRAC for medication administration—with expansion planned shortly across all facilities within the unit.

The Local Health Unit of Algarve (ULSALG) currently includes three public hospitals (Faro, Portimão, and Lagos), three Primary Care Health Center Groups (ACES) with their respective functional units, four Basic Emergency Services, and the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center of the South.
