BIQ has initiated the implementation of the MedTRAC project at Guarda Local Health Unit (ULS Guarda), aimed at reorganizing logistical workflows for clinical supplies, general services, administrative goods, and pharmaceuticals.

The project aims to elevate service levels in Logistics and Pharmacy, establish a permanent inventory model providing real-time visibility into stock levels across all clinical departments, and optimize inventory and overall consumption.

Key operational areas being streamlined include Receiving, Picking, and Inventory operations in the Central Warehouse and Pharmacy, alongside consumption tracking in end-user departments. All hardware and software being deployed rely on modern Android technology, providing ULS Guarda with a robust foundation to expand into point-of-care clinical mobile workflows in subsequent phases.
