We have initiated the rollout of MAPP solutions at the Amadora/Sintra Local Health Unit (ULSASi).

BIQ HS was chosen as the partner of choice to support ULSASi in this project, which aims to implement mobility solutions and operational dashboards to increase efficiency in healthcare delivery and enhance patient safety within transfusion and blood collection workflows.

The BTRAC system was designed to ensure end-to-end traceability, safety, positive patient identification, and monitoring of blood component administration, ensuring full compliance with applicable legal requirements, guidelines, and best practices.

Through the LabTRAC solution, real-time precise identification of laboratory samples is made possible—ensuring each sample belongs to the correct patient, reducing human error, and offering complete process traceability.

Together, these integrated solutions enable the full paperless digitization of clinical workflows, driving mobility while guaranteeing quality and safety—allowing healthcare professionals to focus their full attention on what matters most: providing care to patients.
