BIQ HS started the implementation of Ekanban® in Logistics and in 4 Clinical Services of Hospital Garcia da Orta.
The implementation comprehends the three main logistical activities: Consumption, Picking and Inventory.
This model allows for an automatic management of all item movements, from the moment they enter the main warehouse until they are consumed, always ensuring the existence of a permanent inventory.
Currently, BIQ HS and the Hospital are preparing the extension to others Clinical services and to the Pharmacy
BIQ - Health Solutions is developing a project co-financed by Portugal 2030 to strengthen the company’s innovation, digitalisation, certification and internationalisation in the Healthcare sector.
