The Unidade Local de Saúde do Algarve initiated the use of mobility solutions, integrated into the MAPP® suite, for transfusion safety – BTrac® and medication administration – PharmaTrac®, in May, with expansion to all branches of this Unit expected soon.
The Unidade Local de Saúde do Algarve (ULSALG) currently integrates the three public hospitals (Hospital de Faro, E.P.E., Portimão, and Lagos), the three Algarve Health Center Groups (ACES) and their respective functional units in primary health care, the four Basic Emergency Services, and the Southern Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center.
